This Is My First Blog — What Do You Think?
As I sit here writing this, I find myself doing something I’ve done for years—I’m asking my son, who is now in spirit, to help me. And just like when he was here on the earth plane, I get the same response: “I don’t know, Mom.”
Some things never change. Even in spirit, he still gives me that familiar “Oh, Mom…” feeling—and honestly, it brings me comfort every time.
I talk to him all the time. For me, that connection never ended—it simply changed form.
I consider myself very fortunate to be a psychic medium, and I truly love what I do. As a medium, I have the ability to communicate with those who have passed on. My daughter used to jokingly say, “Mom talks to dead people.” I usually smile when I hear that, but I prefer to say I talk to those in spirit—because to me, they are very much still alive, just in a different way.
My son Matthew passed away 14 years ago from an autoimmune disease. That kind of loss changes you forever. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could see him, hug him, hear his voice in the physical world. If I’m being honest, I would choose that in a heartbeat over anything else.
But Matthew always reminds me—he is still here. Just in a different form.
And I’ve come to understand what that means.
We all receive signs from our loved ones in spirit, whether we realize it or not. They find gentle, meaningful ways to reach us—little moments that feel too perfect, too personal to be coincidence.
Maybe it’s a cardinal or a blue jay appearing right when you need it most.
A sudden breeze when the air is still.
A soft touch, a familiar scent, or even that feeling of someone brushing past you when no one is there.
Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes it stops you in your tracks.
But too often, we brush these moments off. We explain them away, or tell ourselves we’re imagining things.
What if we’re not?
What if these are the ways our loved ones are saying, “I’m still with you.”
Especially for parents who have lost a child, I want you to know this: the bond you share does not end. It cannot end. Love like that doesn’t disappear—it transforms.
Your child is still connected to you. Still aware. Still loving you in ways that go beyond what we can physically see.
The signs are real.
And they matter.
I would love to hear from you—have you experienced signs from your loved ones? What have you noticed, felt, or seen?
Please share your experiences with me. Nothing is too small. Sometimes the smallest signs carry the biggest meaning.
